Public Talks
As a graduate student at UC Berkeley, I am a very passionate about disseminating my research as well as discoveries in my field of transient astronomy to public audiences. Below are some selected talks that I gave for public outreach events through the UC Berkeley Astro Night and iTelescope webinar series.
Astrobites
I am an active author for the graduate student run publication Astrobites. We provide daily summaries of recent astrophysics journal articles as well as reviews of current issues in the astronomical community. Below are some of my featured pieces:
Adler Planetarium
When I was a graduate student at Northwestern, I volunteered as a speaker at the Adler Planetarium’s Sky Visualization Lab. The SVL provides lectures for the public on assorted topics in astrophysics that include cutting-edge space visualizations/simulations. Come check it out if you are in Chicago!
